Takeda Pharmaceuticals (global) is the largest and oldest pharmaceutical company in Japan.
The objective was to define a house style to be used with their existing trademark. The house style
creates a number of different visual tools (pattern, photographic style, typographic style, color, etc.)
that define the look, tone and feel of the brand. The refreshed brand communicates a scientific
yet rich visual system that is easily adaptable across diverse media. The concept was designed as
a freelance consultant for Landor Associates.

This beautiful packaging concept positions the brand as a high-style and premium offering. The
graphic and industrial designs both unify the brand as family of products, while also successfully
differentiating each line. The Sheer Volume concept is expressed through a lyrical and flowing
visual language, while the Moisture Renewal design expresses the scientific nature of the product.

<description>Takeda Pharmacueticals (North America) // House Style Concept

&#60;img src="http://payload.cargocollective.com/1/3/113306/1537141/4pt_905_905.png" width="905" height="2" width_o="905" height_o="2" src_o="http://payload.cargocollective.com/1/3/113306/1537141/4pt_905_o.png" data-mid="7766197"  border="0" align="left"/&#62;
Takeda Pharmaceuticals North America is a small research-focused subsidiary of Takeda
Pharmaceuticals (global), the largest and oldest pharmaceutical company in Japan. The design
objective was to define a house style to be used with their existing trademark. The house style
creates a number of different visual tools (pattern, photographic style, typographic style, color, etc.)
that define the look, tone and feel of the brand. The refreshed brand communicates a scientific
yet rich visual system that is easily adaptable across diverse media. The project was designed
while working for Landor Associates. Included with the system is a detailed brand guidelines book
that specifies proper implementation of the brand. Additional design contributions by Jim Adorney
and Pete McClelland.
